"You go on looking. Her face
is given over to sleep, it's silent,
asleep, like her hands. But all
the time the spirit shows
through the surface of the body,
all over, so that each part bears
witness in itself to the whole -
the hands and the eyes, the curve
of the belly and the face, the
breasts and the sex, the legs and
the arms, the breath, the heart,
the temples, the temples and
time. " -The Malady of Death, Marguerite Duras

Reasons being because it's not you but what's inside of you. I wanted to say buried but that would be incorrect diction. We're going to take this day by day. You've let me in this far and I'm curious where fall will take us.
I've spoken my mind in a more private venue and I'll bear it's repeating: you're beautiful. Still saying take the damn compliment.
At least you appreciate my wit unlike some women. One that totally wasn't a Shane.
because you are afraid of what you might see?
scared of knowing for sure.
instead thinking maybe is better than knowing.
or maybe i am getting it all wrong.
but love, you have nothing to be afraid of. you are so wonderfully beautiful. and i mean that from the bottom of my heart.
:-( you are beautiful. you are my star. i wish you could see you how i do. you would be in awe at your beauty and charm.

Happy Sunday to you <3
That writing was beautiful and so is the image. And I really hope that one day you can stand bare before that mirror and smile and the beautiful being you ARE. Inside AND out.

just wanted to say hello. I have been reading your wonderfull words forever, but just now dared to become visible ... thank you for making me a little less lonely for the past months
duras is wonderful. i studied moderato cantabile in high school when i lived in france. it was absolutely enthralling.
i just realised after reading this that i make faces at myself everytime i look in the mirror. so you are not alone. but you are very pretty. love you!
